Harbor East continues expand its growing retail portfolio, announcing today that interior accessory boutique Curiosity and styling salon Haute Blow Dry Bar will soon open their doors in the upscale mixed-use neighborhood. Over the last year, Harbor East has attracted a bounty of new national and local retailers including Under Armour Brand House, J.Crew, Anthropologie, lululemon athletica, MAC Cosmetics, Loafers & Laces and White House/Black Market. The two new offerings add nearly 1,400 square feet of retail space to the thriving waterfront district.
Owner Katie DeStefano opened up Curiosity in 2010 in Federal Hill. The interior accessory shop specializes in unique, hand-selected items for the home including picture frames, candles, serving ware and textiles. DeStefano will also offer interior design services and special ordering. The new Harbor East location spans approximately 700 square feet and is located at 1000 Lancaster Street, with its front door situated on S. Exeter Street.
Offering professional blow outs, hair styling, and special occasion up dos, Haute Blow Dry Bar will also encompass approximately 700 square feet at its 644 S. Exeter Street location. The hair styling salon will also host private events and parties, including bridal showers. This is Haute Blow Dry Bar’s second location, having recently opened in Dulaney Plaza in August of this year.
“We are very excited to welcome Curiosity and Haute Blow Dry Bar to Harbor East,” stated Tim O’Donald, President of Harbor East Management Group. “From brand name national retailers to the highest quality local operators, the neighborhood’s co-tenancy mix is robust and eclectic. We take pride in continuing to offer our patrons a vibrant and sophisticated urban shopping experience.”
Both Curiosity and Haute Blow Dry Bar are scheduled to open this fall in time for the holiday shopping season.
