At Bird in Hand, we’re kicking off our fall programming with our inaugural after-hours market, Night Flights, on August 26. As students prepare to head back to class, we will be celebrating all things Back to School!
Join us for:
- Themed book curation for everyone ranging from our littlest students to life-long learners
- Pop-up vendors
- Drinks
- And, of course, author signings!
We’ll be partnering with one of our featured authors, D. Watkins– and sending copies of his latest book, Black Boy Smile, to Dunbar High School, where D. is an alum.
Come by any time between 5pm and 9pm to mix and mingle with local writers, enjoy a fun cocktail or mocktail, stock up on school supplies, donate a book, and browse our incredible selection of books.
