LUSH Fresh Handmade Cosmetics, offering ethical skin care, hair care, bath and body luxuries, will open its first shop in Baltimore early this summer. The newest LUSH location will occupy approximately 1,300 square feet at 1001 Aliceanna Street in the heart of Harbor East. LUSH will join Under Armour Brand House, J.Crew, Anthropologie, lululemon athletica, MAC Cosmetics, City Sports and White House/Black Market, South Moon Under, Urban Chic and more in the up-and-coming shopping district.
Since LUSH’s inception 19 years ago, its philosophy has been to have the least impact on the environment while producing effective and innovative beauty products. In doing so, LUSH products are 100% vegetarian, 82% vegan, 60% preservative-free, and 38% free of wasteful packaging with absolutely no animal testing on LUSH products or ingredients. LUSH’s “cosmetic deli” concept encourages customers to choose cosmetics from the fresh cleansing rolls at the skin care bar, piles of fragrant Bath Bombs, bars of solid shampoo, or from the fresh face masks displayed on ice. LUSH has over 900 shops worldwide, including 188 in North America.
