With the Birds coming off of a strong season — even with a heartbreaking Wild Card game loss — there are plenty of reasons to show pride for the home team on your doorstep.
Designing and carving a pumpkin is no easy task for many of us. To those who haven’t yet created a jack-o’-lantern solid enough to put on display, the Orioles have your back.
The team released a series of pumpkin carving and shading stencils this afternoon. There are eight to choose from, ranging from the classic “O’s” logo to the newest version of the team’s cartoon logo, to a fiercer version of the cartoon logo. Among the options, the two solely script-based designs seem to be the simplest (or least challenging), while the 25th Anniversary Camden Yards diamond and the Maryland flag logo are probably the most intricate.
Each has detailed instructions for what to cut out or leave untouched with the carving knife.

Whatever you choose, the Orioles ask that you share your finished pumpkin with them on social media using the hashtag #OsPumpkin.
