A favorite summer concert series is back thanks to the Friends of Patterson Park, PNC, and media partners WYPR and WTMD.

The 2025 Summer Concert Series is an energetic celebration of music, culture, and community presented against the backdrop of the historic Patterson Park Observatory. All concerts are on Sunday evenings from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. and are free and family-friendly.

Bring friends, a blanket, lawn chairs, and dancing shoes to enjoy a variety of local bands whose music genres include rockabilly, cumbia, Afropop, reggae, indie rock and more. There will also be food and craft vendors at the top of the hill.

Concert dates and performers are as follows:

  • June 8 โ€“ Elikeh (Afropop with a global groove)
  • June 29 โ€“ Bad Hombres (Latin rock with an edge)
  • July 13 โ€“ Kiti Gartner & The Drifting Valentines (High-energy rockabilly)
  • July 27 โ€“ Patterson Trash (Local indie punk flavor)
  • August 10 โ€“ Strykers Posse (Reggae power that moves the soul)
