The near-constant rain and looming dark clouds last week made the Preakness Stakes and Black-Eyed Susan at Pimlico Race Course a damp, muddy, gray affair. But an announced crowd of 134,487 turned out to see Kentucky Derby winner Justify capture the middle jewel of horse racing’s Triple Crown, or to drink and party in the waterlogged infield as Post Malone, 21 Savage and ODESZA played.
