We knew that Thor, the deaf and impossibly cute pit bull puppy who was stolen from a Timonium couple, had been returned safely on Tuesday. Now we know how. According to Baltimore County police, the two suspects in the robbery (which also included the theft of electronics) made arrangements to sell the dog back to the owners. When they showed up to the White Marsh Mall parking lot police were there to arrest them.
Now, some would groan about the stupidity of criminals, but in this case at least, thank goodness for it! If the two men, both of Baltimore City, hadn’t gone along with the dubious idea of making a parking-lot transaction with people they had recently robbed, there’s no telling where Thor may have ended up.
Both Mark Tyrone Gibson, 37, and William Terrell Hudson, 33, are being held at the Baltimore County Detention Center on $20,000 bail.
