Cold, snow, and ice have been the talk of the town this week. Amid the school closings and delays, it can be hard to think about what your child will be doing when school lets out in June. Summer at Friends has been the camp for Baltimore children for more than half a century; and with co-ed programs for campers ages 4 to 13, there’s something for everyone. All Summer at Friends programs include a blend of indoor and outdoor activities, with a well-rounded schedule that keeps campers excited and engaged. Friends’ 35 acre campus houses everything campers need, so there’s no need to travel! It’s not too late to save on Camp! Enroll by February 18th, and receive a discount when you schedule 6 or more weeks! (Enroll for 6 weeks and receive a $50 credit, 7 weeks – $75, and 8 weeks earns you a $100 credit!) Traditional Day Camps (ages 4 – 13) feature daily swim instruction, daily specials such as art and activity, and flexible weekly scheduling. Creative Technology Camps (Ages 7 – 13) feature a blend of guided activities, plus self-paced projects that allow campers to explore art, technology, and fun! These super popular camps include Robots & Rockets, Tech Tapas, Phantastic Photography, Video Camp, and more! Fine Arts Camps (Ages 6 – 13) are available for budding artists, actors, and dancers. These camps promote self-expression and confidence, and are always a hit! Sports Camp (ages 7-11) at Summer at Friends is a truly unique program! Designed for players of all abilities, sports camp provides opportunities to have fun, play games, and learn new skills! Small group instruction and excellent coaching make this a perennial favorite. This year’s weekly focuses include tennis, soccer, basketball, flag football, and baseball. Come See What Summer Fun Looks Like at www.fscamp.org, or call 410-649-3218.
