A new plant shop called The Thrive Sanctuary is coming to 1442 E. Fort Ave. in Locust Point. The Thrive Sanctuary takes over a retail space that was most recently a hair salon.
The Thrive Sanctuary is a concept from Locust Point resident Elena Sonnino, who is a life coach and yoga teacher. She moved to the Locust Point from Northern Virginia two and a half years ago and fell in love with the neighborhood.
“The Thrive Sanctuary is more than just a plant shop, it’s a refuge where plants, mindfulness, and community will come together and tend to our needs,” said Sonnino.
