One month in, there have been all sorts of reports on Pokemon Go accidents. There were the guys who fell off a cliff, and the infamous Baltimore accident where a driver sideswiped a cop car while playing the augmented reality game. At this point, perhaps it’s time to catch ’em all in a safe, controlled setting. Like your public library.
This week, the Baltimore County Public Library is bringing the craze between the stacks. The game lasts all night, and players will be split into teams. At 6:30 p.m. each night, BCPL will set off lures in the area of specific libraries. They’re also promising Pokemon Go-related activities throughout the week. And, there will be stickers.
