Police arrested Shawn Oliver on Thursday in connection with the death of Mia Henderson, according to CBS Baltimore. Henderson was one of two transgender women murdered within a month period in the summer of 2014.

Henderson was killed in the 3400 block of Piedmont Ave. Police were able to get evidence in the attack from Henderson’s fingernails. The other man’s DNA was on the nails because Henderson tried to fight back.

Henderson, whose given name is Kevin Long, is the sibling of Reggie Bullock, who plays for the NBA’s Detroit Pistons.

“Just wanted to take time to thank the @BaltimorePolice for aggressively pursuing the murderer of my brother,” Bullock tweeted. “My family and I are now able to rest our hearts knowing that this person is OFF THE STREETS.”

The murder of Kandy Hall, who was killed nearby a month before Mia Henderson was killed, remains unsolved.
