On Sunday, June 25, Baltimore County Public Library cardholders who present their library cards at Port Discovery Children’s Museum and purchase one regular admission ticket will receive one admission ticket for half-off the normal admission cost as part of Port Discovery’s Baltimore County Public Library Discount Day!

Port Discovery Children’s Museum and Baltimore County Public Library are thrilled to offer this Discount Day to library holders as a way to provide children and families with an interactive day of educational play. Families can explore three floors of interactive, educational exhibits at Port Discovery Children’s Museum, including the new KLUTZ ® Amazingly Immature! exhibit, based on the popular KLUTZ® Encyclopedia of Immaturity Vol. 1 and 2, which encourages children to learn about science concepts like inertia, physics, and Newton’s Third Law of Motion through laughter and physical comedy. Visitors can also enjoy early literacy learning through Circle Time and Mother Goose on the Loose, plus participate in Kamishibai Story Time, Jingle Jangle Music Time, art projects and more!

Baltimore County Public Library is also reminding children and families to participate in their Summer @ Your Library Reading Challenge: Build a Better World. Families can sign up at any Baltimore County Public Library branch or register and print out their game board via the Baltimore County Public Library website atwww.bcpl.info/summerreading.  Summer reading activities and events are also available via Baltimore County Public Library’s website.
