Where Boys Become Their Best
At The Boys’ Latin School of Maryland, a Pre-K through grade 12 day and boarding school, education begins with a simple belief: boys learn best when they are known, challenged and understood. That is why every part of the Boys’ Latin experience is intentionally designed around how boys grow academically, socially and emotionally.
In the Lower School, boys learn through movement, exploration and hands-on experiences. With daily physical education, outdoor learning and opportunities for purposeful play, students stay engaged while building strong academic foundations. Small class sizes ensure every boy receives the individual attention he needs, while programs like Laker Buddies connect younger students with older mentors, fostering confidence and a sense of belonging from their first years of school.
As boys enter Middle School, they begin developing greater independence and responsibility. Every student participates in various athletics each season, which helps them to discover new interests while learning resilience, teamwork and leadership in the classroom, on the field, and throughout campus life.
By Upper School, students are prepared to pursue their passions through challenging academics, competitive athletics, meaningful arts experiences, and a wide range of clubs and leadership opportunities. With the support of dedicated teachers who know them well, each student is encouraged to think critically, lead confidently, and prepare for success in college and beyond.
Rather than embracing a one-size-fits-all approach, Boys’ Latin believes every boy deserves an education designed specifically for him.
