Joe Flacco is the Ravens’ quarterback on the field, but the team is seeking to honor an exceptional leader in the community.
The Ravens and the NFL are set to award the Community Quarterback Award to individuals who “exemplify leadership, dedication and commitment to the communities which they serve.” The awards will be presented on Nov. 27 at the Ravens-Bengals game.
Nominations are open through Nov. 4. Volunteers ages 13 or over or folks who work for a nonprofit are eligible. And since community QBs don’t get a contract, winners get game tickets, apparel and a grant.
