When President Obama came to town last week, we all knew he was talking legislative strategy with House Democrats. But a visit away from Washington always seems to mean finding some time in the schedule for Obama. This time, it was Ravens Running Back Justin Forsett who got to meet the President. Even though the 30-year-old is already an NFL player, he was in awe of meeting the Commander in Chief.
Forsett details the โepic meetingโ on his Sportsblog. Though he was surprised to find out that he couldnโt take a selfie, Forsett was star-struck when the POTUS walked in. But Obama diffused some of the nerves with small talk about the offseason and basketball. Forsett:
I explain that I broke my arm, but am trying to get better so I can get in on his White House pickup basketball game. So he says, โNo, I couldnโt handle you on that court, man. You look like one of those explosive 5โ10โ guys whoโll dunk on you. I donโt want any part of that embarrassment!โ
With that height reading, Forsett reports that the president gave him two inches. So thatโs why everyone feels taller after they meet the president.
