New Ravens defensive tackle Timmy Jernigan was late for a meeting last week. We forgive him, though, because his excuse for being tardy is extremely cute.
Jernigan grew up in Florida and played for Florida State in college. In true Florida fashion, he’d never seen snow in person before. When snowflakes started fluttering down last week, Jernigan got very excited. He enlisted the help of some other Ravens employees in order to build his very first snowman.
The Ravens could technically fine Jernigan for showing up late to the meeting. But coach John Harbaugh doesn’t seem too mad. “It’s all good, he had a fun time,” Harbaugh told the Sun. “It was just fun watching him enjoy it. He was like a little kid.”
