The owners of Remington speakeasy W.C. Harlan are reportedly planning to open a new spot.

According to Baltimore Business Journal, the owners received approval from the city liquor board for a transfer of the liquor license from the current owners at 225-227 W. 23rd St. That space is currently occupied by Corkyโ€™s Grill.

In fitting fashion for owners of a speakeasy, Business Journal reporter Sarah Meehan writes that there wasnโ€™t much info divulged about the project at the hearing beyond a targeted spring opening. The liquor board agenda also stated they were requesting โ€œoutdoor seating and off-premises catering.โ€

Owned by Lane Harlan, WC Harlanโ€™s speakeasy concept and craft cocktails made the Remington bar a hit. Tomorrow, theyโ€™re adding an oyster pop-up. But if anyone asks, you didnโ€™t hear it from us.
