The owners of Remington speakeasy W.C. Harlan are reportedly planning to open a new spot.
According to Baltimore Business Journal, the owners received approval from the city liquor board for a transfer of the liquor license from the current owners at 225-227 W. 23rd St. That space is currently occupied by Corky’s Grill.
In fitting fashion for owners of a speakeasy, Business Journal reporter Sarah Meehan writes that there wasn’t much info divulged about the project at the hearing beyond a targeted spring opening. The liquor board agenda also stated they were requesting “outdoor seating and off-premises catering.”
Owned by Lane Harlan, WC Harlan’s speakeasy concept and craft cocktails made the Remington bar a hit. Tomorrow, they’re adding an oyster pop-up. But if anyone asks, you didn’t hear it from us.
