Joel Sinclair Corbett, 31, of Severna Park raised suspicions as he made his way to the Sikh temple in Oak Creek, Wis., the site of a mass shooting in August. He walked into the temple in the morning on October 28 “wearing a backpack with wires hanging out of it.”
It turns out the wires were merely chargers for different electronic devices, but Corbett did assure the police officers who questions him that he was acting on God’s orders to visit sites of tragedies across the United States and writing a book about it, so there’s that. Also, they searched his car and found a Glock handgun, ammunition, zip ties, and duct tape, among other items.
After police read through his journal and found nothing threatening in it, they took his ammunition and sent him on his way.
