Summer at Friends

Summer at Friends has been the home for summer fun since the 1960’s. A hidden gem located right on Charles Street between Northern Parkway and Wyndhurst Avenue, Summer at Friends takes full advantage of Friends School’s beautiful 35 acre campus. Campers  as young as four and as old as thirteen enjoy thoughtfully crafted activities such as science, technology, art, music, and swimming, in the comfort of a facility designed just for them! It’s a place for campers to be kids, form friendships, and discover the joy of creating lasting memories of summer fun, in a peaceful, safe, and supportive environment.

With more than 20 camp programs to choose from, there are options for almost every interest and ability level. Summer at Friend’s caring, experienced staff plans daily activities that build skills, inspire confidence, and perhaps most importantly – encourage campers to try something new!

Summer at Friends

The most important part of the Summer at Friends experience is FRIENDS! Each summer, the camp welcomes campers from across the United States and even from other countries. The staff (many of whom were previously campers) come from all over, just to be here for the summer. While it’s likely that daily favorites like swimming are a factor, treasured camp traditions such as carnival day, the Cardboard Regatta, and our Camp Closing Ceremony keep happy campers and staff coming back year after year.

What will Summer Fun look like for you this year?

Will it be playing soccer in Sports Camp? Group Games in Intermediate Camp? Making music at the Camp Closing Ceremony with the Senior Experience? Or will you be tinkering in MakersCamp or building bridges in Architecture? Summer is a time to try something new and exciting, and it doesn’t matter if that means taking the stage with Imagination Alive or exploring one of the other camp options… Summer at Friends is your Summer Home!
