Paper Spring Pop-Ups
Available daily. Who doesn’t love pop-up books?! Kids and adults will follow this simple technique to create their own bouncy spring, then use it to construct a fun spring-themed pop-up box!
Community Flower Garden
Available daily.Stop by the Studio Workshop and help make it bloom! Kids and adults are invited to stretch their creative muscles and use a variety of materials to create their own whimsical flowers and add them to our Community Flower Garden on display this Spring!
Nature Cellophane Shadow Puppets
Available daily. Experiment with the art of paper puppetry by creating your very own unique paper dolls and puppets! Once you’ve created your puppets in the studio, head over to our Shadow Puppet play area inside the PD Presents exhibit, where you can make your new friends come to life!
Slinky Zone
Available daily. Stop by the Previews, Pop-Ups & Prototype space on the third floor where you can show off your Slinky™ skills using stairs, ramps, and a built-in Slinky™ racing wall!
- Saturdays Only: Farmer Weathersky’s Flock of Clouds
Happening Saturdays at 11:30 and 1:30: Interact with Farmer Weathersky (Port Discovery Educator, Mr. Derek!) as he herds his group of fantastical clouds within our Here We Grow exhibit. With the help of some guest participation, a variety of precipitation will fall throughout the museum! This sensory, strolling entertainment includes pre-recorded sound, puppetry, and special effects little learners will be awe-struck over!

Saturday, March 27, Friday, April 2 and Saturday, April 3 from 11am – 2pm:Explore and learn about all kinds of animals with Wildlife Adventures! This hands-on, interactive experience allows guests to get up-close and personal with all kinds of furry, scaly, feathery, and fun animals!
