This spring, a visit from The Boss is in order in Baltimore.
Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band are set to play Royal Farms Arena on April 20. Equally important, of course, is the date which tickets go on sale: Feb. 5 at 10 a.m.
The Baltimore date is part of a big set of new dates for The River tour, which just started last week. The tour is Springsteen’s first in two years. It’s supporting release of Springsteen’s latest boxed set that looks back at the 1980 album, The River, and all of the four-hour live sets surrounding it. At each date of this tour, the band plays all of the songs from the album.
Tour stops have been rare over the years. Before 2009, the only other Springsteen show in Charm City in 1973 as an opening act for Chicago. Things have changed a little since then.
