The Magic of Merryland Festival returns to Harbor East to kick off the Holiday Season on Saturday, November 22 with an iconic celebration filled with music, holiday treats, and festive fun for the whole family!
The Magic of Merryland Festival has something for everyone to enjoy! Beginning at 12pm, join Santa outside the Merryland Tree for FREE Pet Photos. Santa will be taking photos all afternoon, with on-site prints and digital files provided.
From 2pm to 6pm, the 800 block of Aliceanna Street will be closed to vehicular traffic, providing a family-friendly, festival-like atmosphere!
The Magic of Merryland begins at 2 PM and features:
- Merryland Express: Perfect for kids and the whole family, ride along Aliceanna Street on a holiday themed trackless train from 2 PM to 5:30 PM.
- Complimentary Carnival Games: Play nostalgic carnival games, including Ring Toss and Over Under, and try to secure a prize. Games will be set up throughout the event for all to enjoy!
- Caricature & Balloon Artist: Don’t miss the FREE caricature and balloon artists set up along the sidewalk of Aliceanna Street!
- The Merryland Carolers: The Joyous Voices Carolers will be spreading holiday cheer and performing your favorite songs as they stroll through the neighborhood beginning at 3 PM.
- Holiday Treats from Kneads: Throughout the afternoon Kneads will be set up street-side selling holiday treats and drinks, the perfect sweet addition to the day!
- Special Showing of Elf: Join Harbor East Cinemas for a special showing of Elf! Based on last year’s popularity, we’ve added a second showing! Rated PG, this is the perfect afternoon movie for the whole family! Tickets are just $4 and include complimentary popcorn and soda. Tickets can be purchased here!
Beginning at 4:45 PM, Harbor East will kick off preparations for the Second Annual Tree Lighting. A magnificent 40-foot show tree will be installed on International Drive, right outside the Four Seasons Hotel. Enjoy complimentary hot chocolate and giveaways until 5:30 PM, when a spectacular 3-minute light show will begin. Harbor East will come alive with the sights and sounds of the holiday season.
Throughout the season, the light show will run every 30 minutes from 5:30 PM to 9 PM each night. The tree will remain on display until January 23, ensuring everyone has a chance to experience the magic!
