Summer at Friends has offered camp experiences for young children for more than five decades. Here four and five year old campers enjoy thoughtfully planned activities – such as music, art, and swimming – in the comfort of a facility designed just for them! Housed in Friends’ Pre-Primary Building, campers have exclusive access to the shaded playground and are a short walk away from the swimming pools. Because Friends’ 35 acre campus has everything campers need, campers never need to travel off campus! It’s a place for campers to be kids, form friendships, and discover the joy of learning and playing in a safe, supportive, environment.

Junior Camp is a well-rounded full day program. Within their groups, campers are guided through our weekly themes, spending time in the classroom and outside exploring Friends School of Baltimore’s gorgeous campus.  Daily art classes spark creativity, with projects ranging from self-portraits to creating puppets and paintings. Then there is music, where the focus is on fun, as campers learn new songs, movement routines, and experiment with rhythm instruments. Junior Campers also enjoy “Jump Bunch”, and parents will appreciate that lunch and snack are included!

KinderCamp, a half day program, is another great way to spend the summer. Each morning is full of fun, and campers enjoy many of the same activities as Junior camp – such as art, music, and swimming – in half the time!

Both Junior and KinderCampers have a great opportunity to cool off with daily swimming in our outdoor swimming pools! Both camps feature Red Cross Learn-To-Swim instruction designed to build and improve aquatic skills and promote water safety – all while having fun!

Summer is coming – Camp starts on June 17 and runs through August 9. You can find out more and register online at www.fscamp.org.
