It’s officially autumn, which means rooftop bar season is more or less over. But in case things unexpectedly warm up in the next few weeks, there’s a new drinking-with-a-view option in town.

The recently renovated Lord Baltimore Hotel (located at 20 W. Baltimore Street) used to reserve its 19th-floor rooftop lounge for corporate events only. But now they’ve decided to open the space to regular old civilians as well, starting today. According to the hotel, the LB Sky Bar will serve “hand crafted cocktails, wine, beer and an incredible view of the city,” and will be open from Wednesday to Saturday until midnight… weather permitting. (And yes, they will have space heaters for chilly evenings.) Other things to keep in mind: cocktails will cost about $12, and there will be a $25 minimum on Friday and Saturday nights.

As far as I can tell, the LB Sky Bar will be the tallest rooftop bar in town. (Right?) I look forward to enjoying it… next summer.
