William “Bill” Stromberg will take over as president and CEO of Baltimore-based money management firm T. Rowe Price at the end of this year.
Stromberg, a 28-year veteran of the firm, will succeed James A. C. Kennedy, who announced his retirement last week. He currently serves as head of global equity for the firm.
The Johns Hopkins Hub calls Stromberg “arguably the best football player in Johns Hopkins University’s history.” He is the only player from the school ever to be elected to the College Football Hall of Fame. The university’s baseball stadium is named after Stromberg (also a baseball player, natch).
