A Hampden man is facing armed robbery, assault and theft charges after police say he robbed The Charmery with a shotgun and attempted to hold up a nearby 7-11 days later using a machete.

Towson Student Robbed at Gunpoint!



Despite Towson University being one of the safest colleges in Maryland — judged in crimes per capita — another student was robbed Saturday night, albeit not on campus.

The 20-year-old woman was sitting in her car on Garden Road when a man in ski mask pulled a gun on her and robbed her of her purse and cell phone. When that wasn’t enough she handed over her roommate’s purse.
