Adopt A Pet: Baltimore Humane Society’s Pets of the Week

Hi there! My name is Chief, and I’m a sweet little guy who was brought to BHS after I was found in an abandoned home with my brother, who has already found his forever home. I am a happy and playful puppy who will definitely benefit from training classes once I find my forever home. It will be fun for all of us to learn new things that teach me about living in a home! I love playing with stuffed animals, squeaky toys and tennis balls. Even though I lived with my brother, I can be a bit selective with other dogs that I have met. So if you’d like to make me the only dog in your home, I would be very happy getting all of your attention! If you are ready to take on all of the responsibilities of adopting and raising a new puppy, and you have a fenced yard, then please fill out an application 1st to start the process. I hope to meet you soon!

Hello! My name is Utah, and I came to BHS because I was abandoned by the BHS gate with my sister. Unfortunately, she was really sick, and passed away the day we came here. Despite my sad past, I just take each day as it comes, and try to live life to the fullest; that is, as much as I can in a cage! I’m something of a social butterfly, and LOVE meeting new people. If you stop by the shelter, you’ll probably see me rolling around and waving “hello!” at everyone! I enjoy soft cat beds and catnip toys, but what I would love the very most is a loving family who can give me the forever home I deserve. Whoever said there’s no such thing as “love at first sight” just hasn’t met me yet! Stop by ASAP and let me win your heart!
