Valley Motors Donates Over $10,000 to the Erika Brannock Fund

After a two-month fund raising campaign, Valley Motors raised over $10,000 to help Boston Bombing victim Erika Brannok, a pre-school teacher in Baltimore County, and presented her with a check yesterday.  The money will be used to help pay for expenses incurred as a result of her injuries.

Erika Brannock, the 29-year-old Towson resident and pre-school teacher who was seriously injured in the bombing at the Boston Marathon on April 15, will receive on Thursday a $10,000 check, thanks to  Valley Motors Subaru of Hunt Valley and Subaru of America, Inc. The two pledged $100 of support to the Erika Brannock Fund for each Subaru sold in the months of May and June. Brannock lost a portion of her left leg and suffered severe damage to her right leg in the explosion.

Towson Teacher Is the Last Boston Bombing Victim Discharged From the Hospital



It was more than 50 days go that Erika Brannock, a preschool teacher in Towson, was waiting near the finish line of the Boston Marathon, ready to cheer her mother on. As we reported back in April, Brannock was critically wounded in the attack. She finally left Boston’s Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, the last of the victims of the bombing to be discharged.
