The Hutzler Brothers Palace Building on Howard Street hasn’t been open to shoppers for nearly three decades, and many Baltimoreans have never been inside. But visitors will get a chance to see the historic department store starting this week when The Contemporary museum opens an exhibit there in collaboration with the building operator, AiNET.
