When readers enter the Ivy Bookshop they are greeted by a front table loaded with literary treats waiting to be picked up and perused. Now meet the authors of these great books, too. Join The Ivy Bookshop and Baltimore Fishbowl as we join together to bring you  the “Front Table” at The Ivy, a series of events in May and June featuring outstanding authors of memoir and literary fiction.

images May 21, Stevenson University graduate Erika Robuck discusses and signs Call Me Zelda, a novel of Zelda Fitzgerald’s struggles to differentiate herself from her famous husband, and Anna Howard, a nurse who grows entangled in the couple’s tumultuous relationship.

 

 

 

 

 

 

images-1On May 29, David R. Gillham discusses and signs City of Women, the story of Sigrid Schroder, a German soldier’s wife tormented by a lost, forbidden love and the grave moral choices she must make in the chaos of 1943 Berlin.
