Courtesy of Curbed DC – The founder of Phillips Seafood has listed his mega-pricey mansion on the Severn River for a whopping $32M.
Considering it was built in 1922 by an arms dealer who may have used it to conceal weapons and went through several owners before becoming a place for a community of Capuchin monks it needed some work when Steve and Maxine Phillips bought the 23-acre property in 2002.
They paid $2.5M, but had extensive renovations completed to make it a luxury manse, with an Asian tea house, sixty-foot infinity pool, and so many arches you feel like you are touring a cathedral.
