Hyun-soo Kim is unproven in Major League Baseball, but it seems like he could be a fit. With their move to sign the Korean star, the Orioles can check off a lot of baseball boxes that they were looking to hit this offseason, such as corner outfielder and a contact hitter who puts the ball in play. And perhaps most importantly, Kim already appears to have his walk-up music at the ready.
After reports surfaced that Kim signed with the Orioles, Korean baseball fan site MyKBO tweeted a taste of the song. It sounds more like a cheer set to music, which makes it all the more likely to reverberate around Camden Yards even when it’s not on the speakers:

Kim gave an early indication that he was bringing his theme music with him. The Orioles report that the song played as he walked into Oriole Park to sign his contract on Wednesday.
The O’s had no news about negotiations with Chris Davis before the holdiays, but this song is a pretty good substitute.
