The search is on for two burglars who police say stole 20 laptops from a Baltimore County elementary school early last Tuesday morning.
Baltimore County police shared on Friday night that they had obtained surveillance footage of two individuals sneaking onto the grounds of Deep Creek Elementary School in Essex on Tuesday, Dec. 13. Police were tipped off by a burglar alarm around 2:42 a.m. When officers arrived on the scene, they found someone had removed a screen from a window on a trailer, opened the windows and climbed inside. The pair then took 20 laptops from the trailer and fled. Each one was valued at $1,250, according to police.
Luckily, they at least got video of the burglars sneaking up to the trailer from a surveillance camera. The whole crime happened in a matter of minutes. Watch below:
