Live Baltimore will host its fourth homebuying incentive event of 2015, from which ten $5,000 downpayment and closing cost grants will be made available. The event will include walking tours of Northwest Baltimore’s historic Ashburton neighborhood; as well as a city-living fair with representatives from Baltimore City Housing, the State of Maryland, mortgage lenders, real estate brokerages, and area neighborhood groups. For the first time, tours will be self-guided— featuring recorded narrations via ‘Guide by Cell’ technology.

WHO:       Live Baltimore, in partnership with Baltimore City Housing

WHEN:     11 a.m. – 1 p.m., Saturday, July 18, 2015

WHERE:   United House of Prayer for All People, 3401 Edgewood Rd, Baltimore, 21215

WHY:        Attendance at this event makes homebuyers eligible to apply for $5,000 in downpayment and closing cost assistance from the City of Baltimore. The ten incentives available through this event may be used anywhere in the city. The cost to attend is $10 with online registration at LiveBaltimore.com or at the door. City Living Starts Here is a homebuying incentive included in the City of Baltimore’s B-HiP Initiative.
