The MARC train’s Dorsey station became the scene of a suspicious package investigation on Tuesday morning. According to the state fire marshal’s office, someone reported a package sitting near a bench, and called 911.
Police immediately evacuated the station, and diverted trains around the station. Authorities then called in the bomb squad, who deployed a robot. The robot then conducted an X-ray of the package.
It was found to be a black trash bag containing bathroom supplies.
Train service was later reopened at the station.
