Towson Town Center is set to implement a new curfew in September.
The mall is requiring anyone under 17 must be accompanied by a parent over 21 after 5 p.m. on Friday and Saturday nights. The new curfew goes into effect on September 16. Youth who aren’t accompanied will have to show proof of age.
The new policy also comes with a rating: PGR, for Parental Guidance Required.
Officials in Baltimore County began calling for a curfew in December after police were called to the mall. One of the officers was hit with a rock, and one arrest, WBAL-TV reported. That report added that The Avenue in White Marsh already has a similar policy.
