Towson University officials are looking into accusations that racist language was used during an argument that took place in a parking garage last week.
According to Fox Baltimore, a white student is said to have used a racial slur against a black student during the dispute, which happened on Thursday. Officials learned about it through a video posted on social media and witnesses.
It’s the latest such accusation on campus. Earlier this year, a student was accused of hurling racial slurs at staff members in the cafeteria. Students launched the #NotatTU campaign to encourage a more inclusive environment in response.
