As difficult as it is to write a novel, many aspiring authors find it infinitely more difficult to find a publisher. I wonder if theyโve ever considered writing an abusive email to their sorority sisters and hoping it goes viral. Itโs worked for Rebecca Martinson.
Sheโs the University of Maryland student who became momentarily famous back in April for a mass email she sent to her Delta Gamma sisters berating them for their behavior during Greek Week (evidently, they were โLITERALLY being so fโing AWKWARD and so fโing BORINGโ). It even earned a hilarious dramatic reading by Michael Shannon.
Martinson is now writing a novel that a low-brow-loving editor at Simon & Schuster is interested in, according to New Republic.
No word yet on the subject, but letโs assume it will concern being young and shallow.
