The University of Virginia announced yesterday that its president of two years, Teresa Sullivan, will leave her post at the end of the year.
According to The Washington Post, Sullivan attributed her departure to “a philosophical difference of opinion” with the university’s governing board of visitors. The news surprised the Charlottesville community.
