As part of what Baltimore Business Journal is calling “one of the most anticipated redevelopment projects in South Baltimore,” Poverni Ventures has secured money and approval it needs to turn the historic but blighted Raffel building on Heath Street into luxury apartments.
The $12 million redevelopment should be completed by summer 2015. The former cardboard box factory is the tallest building in the neighborhood, and its rooftop view is expected to be a major attraction for residents, who will be able to enjoy the vistas by visiting the rooftop common spaces or by renting one of the few penthouse apartments slated for the project.
