Gordon Ramsay is looking for some Maryland hotels to lambaste on TV. Britian’s cranky consultant is searching for hotels for a third season of Hotel Hell on Fox, and some could be in Maryland — if they’re terrible enough.
According to a flier posted by the Maryland Department of Business and Economic Development, Ramsay is seeking out businesses in need of his “tough love.” He may even swear at you if you’re lucky.
“Whether your hotel is struggling due to poor management or unprofessional employees, or if business just never fully recovered from the Recession, now is the time to ask for help,” a statement said. We assume the usual menu of roach infestation and lax maintenance would also apply.
But don’t worry, says Maryland Office of Tourism’s Liz Fitsimmons. For all the pain and public humiliation, Ramsay’s “eagle eye” can increase “a property’s value and customer experience.”
If you have a friend who’s known to be camera shy, you can even recommend someone else’s business.
