BOYDS, Md. — Warrior Canine Connection is a national nonprofit that trains and pairs service dogs with veterans.
Its goal is to help them recover from post-traumatic stress and reconnect with their families and communities.
But a national shortage of people who raise puppies is delaying the process, leaving many veterans waiting.
