A free outdoor fitness series along Baltimore’s waterfront will return next week.

The Waterfront Wellness series, presented by the Waterfront Partnership of Baltimore and Medifast, will return May 14 and run through the end of October.

Baltimore-based fitness professionals will lead workout classes six days a week at Harbor Point Plaza, West Shore Park, and the Broadway Pier in Fells Point.

This year, the series will feature the return of popular classes from the 2023 season, including “Strong on the Lawn” with instructor Jessica Ceiri and pilates with instructor Erin Dreisbach. There will also be some new additions, including “Sunrise Yoga” led by instructor Luann Carra and “Run Meet Up” with members of the local group Believe in the Run.

“We’re thrilled to unveil new classes this season, each designed to inspire and motivate the community,” said Laurie Schwartz, president of Waterfront Partnership, in a statement. “This year, our mission remains steadfast: to bring the joy of fitness and the camaraderie of community to Baltimoreans all across the waterfront, all free of charge.”

With each class they attend, participants will rack up rewards. Among the top prizes is an Apple Watch.

All skill levels are welcome. Participants should bring their own water, sneakers, and mats, if necessary.

Each class is limited to 50 people, so pre-registration is required. Participants can register online eight days before a class.
