Last week, the DC Council voted 11-2 in favor of constructing a new stadium complex in the nation’s capital to once again house the Washington Commanders.

The resolution authorizes the city to proceed with development plans for a replacement for the Robert F. Kennedy Memorial Stadium, which is currently being demolished. The stadium aspect of the project is scheduled to be completed in December of 2030.

Capital News Service went to Northwest Stadium in Landover, Maryland on Sunday to ask Commanders fans how they feel about the team’s move back to Washington and their predictions for the upcoming season. Here’s what four fans had to say.
