A day after it was announced, the Violent Femmes show at WTMD is gone daddy gone.
The station announced the free Live Lunch show with the folk punk pioneers is cancelled “due to circumstances beyond our control.”
The group is touring in support of its newly released 10th album, “Hotel Last Resort.” And while it sucks they’ll no longer playing here on July 31, there are still tickets available for their show at The Anthem in Washington D.C. with Ben Folds.
