It’s time to get outside, and enjoy some local drink and music. Wedged between bluegrass-oriented fests at Red Shedman Farm and the Charm City Folk and Bluegrass Festival, WTMD has us covered this weekend.
The radio station’s Brews and Bands returns on Sat., April 23, for an all- afternoon excursion at its studios in Towson.
The beer lineup is as much a testament to Maryland’s growing craft beer scene as it is organization prowess. They’ll have 15 breweries onhand, each offering a pair of samples. That means a chance to try the brewers at Peabody Heights such as Monument City, Peabody Heights and Raven Beer, as well as Dundalk’s own Key Brewing and Nepenthe Homebrew. They’re serving up as many tasting as possible until the beer runs out.
Being a WTMD event, music is also on tap from Lazlo Lee and the Motherless Children and Among Wolves.
