To tween girls, he’s Haymitch from the Hunger Games movies; for Baby Boomers, he’s Woody from Cheers; for everyone else, he’s that guy from Natural Born Killers/The People vs. Larry Flynt/No Country for Old Men/Hollywood’s most prominent pro-marijuana activist. In other words, Woody Harrelson is a hard guy not to notice. But apparently the actor managed to bike his way through Baltimore this weekend without causing too much of a fuss.
According to the Baltimore Sun, Harrelson stopped by Joe’s Bike Shop in Fells Point. This wasn’t a completely random experience: Harrelson, an avid biker and environmentalist, first shopped at Joe’s back in 2011. This time, though, he was accompanied by his friend magician David Blaine. Joe Traill, owner of Joe’s, told the Sun that the two men were “incredibly down to earth and low-key.”
(Interesting, unrelated fact: Did you know that Harrelson’s dad was a hitman who was convicted of killing a federal judge? Oof.) As they biked around town, we hope Harrelson and Blaine took advantage of Baltimore’s newest bike-friendly improvements.
