Applications are open for a Baltimore youth summer jobs program.

Baltimore-based nonprofit organization Dent Education runs the Bet on Baltimore program, a 125-hour paid summer internship. Participants will earn $15 per hour.

Coaches will teach participants skills in areas such as entrepreneurship, design thinking, 3D printing, product development, and artificial intelligence.

To be eligible, applicants must be a young person living in Baltimore and either a “First-Time Denter” (age 14-16 years old) or a “Returning Denter” (15-21 years old).

Applicants should also be available for the duration of the 5-week program, which will run from July 7 through Aug. 8, 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.

The deadline to apply for the program is 11:59 p.m. on March 31, but the organization will prioritize applications that are submitted before that deadline.
