The hype continues to build as we inch closer to boxer Gervonta Davis’ hometown title defense.

Davis, a homegrown boxer who studied at the Upton Boxing Center under the tutelage of Calvin Ford, is scheduled to face off against Ricardo Nunez at Royal Farms Arena on Saturday with the WBA Super Featherweight Championship on the line.

But first the fighters have to weigh in, and that will be a huge event itself with performances by local rappers Young Moose and YG Teck.

Both artists are huge names in Baltimore, pulling in tens of thousands of views–in some cases more than 1 million–on YouTube, thanks in no small part to a loyal hometown following. And the duo teamed up earlier this year on the release “Excuse the Mud.”

The weigh-in itself is Friday at 3 p.m., but as Moose says in this promo video, you’re going to want to do whatever it takes to arrive early.

Davis, the new recipient of a key to the city, is feeling the local love, posting about the concert on Twitter and saying, “Baltimore we coming together man!”

Per a poster, doors for the weigh-in open at 1 p.m., and the event is free.

UPDATE: A representative from Royal Farms Arena said complimentary tickets are required for entry and will be given out starting at 10 a.m. Friday. They will be distributed first come, first served, and there’s a limit of four per person.
