Count this as notice to plan your last visit. According to the Baltimore Sun’s Richard Gorelick, the husband-and-wife team behind Clementine is closing its brick and mortar restaurant on Harford Road in August.
Co-owner Cristin Dadant tells Gorelick that she and husband Winston Blick will continue the restaurant’s catering operation, but it appears that brunch will be no more. The catering service will be at Artscape if you want a taste of the catering operation.
As it happens, Gorelick himself is also leaving the Baltimore restaurant scene. The Sun restaurant critic announced last night that Friday, July 17 is his last day at the paper.
“Mostly what I’ve been thinking about is how proud I was to have been in this newsroom this spring,” he wrote in a post announcing the move on Facebook.
Gorelick didn’t immediately detail his future plans.
